Doug Fischer has an extensive track record in the Painting & Coating Industry, managing and training large painting teams for complex commercial projects. The appeal of running one’s own business drew Doug to Kitsap County, where he could combine a commitment to the community and build a strong family oriented business. (see bio, About the Owner)

For Fischer Painting, Doug focuses on field operations, project management, resource planning and strategy for market growth.  Doug also drives the key parameters of the bidding process. 

Vice President
DuAnn Fischer has over 20 years expertise with a General Contractor and is familiar with construction processes and procedures.  Her experience is in general accounting, accounts payable and receivables, including prevailing wage payroll and the associated prevailing wage certified reports for Government Projects.   

For Fischer Painting, DuAnn focuses on financial management, contract analysis, scheduling, and project/personnel administration.  DuAnn is also responsible for Fischer Painting’s market growth strategy and long term financial planning.

About the Owner

Doug Fischer has lived in the Puget Sound Region for over 30 years. Doug is a master painter with over 22 years experience.

Doug graduated from  Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.   His painting career began with summer jobs while working his way through college. Directly after graduating from college Doug's career continued in the Painting and General Contracting industries.   Before long, he was a project manager for a large painting contractor in Snohonish County and managed a team of painters.  During the late 90's the computing industry was growing dramatically and his interests drew him into a position with a computer company.  However he soon decided his preference was in the construction related industries. 

Doug always wanted to start his own business. Therefore Kitsap County seemed like the perfect place for a young entrepreneurial minded person to do just that!   

Doug moved his family to Kitsap County in 2001 to establish his business.  Doug serves his community as a volunteer firefighter for North Kitsap Fire and Rescue, while his company continues to grow.

As a small businessman, his integrity is the foundation of his business, tightly coupled with his commitment to quality and superior service to his customers.
